Annual Barn to Beach Ride-a-Thon

Each year 25 confident to advanced riders and their horses join forces for an incredible 2 hour trail and beach ride that covers the fields, woodlands and private beach of Ram Island Farm in Cape Elizabeth. One of the favorite parts of this annual event is the chance to swim in the ocean with your horse!

The Ride includes a continental breakfast before the ride and a gourmet lunch at the completion of the ride.

Riders are asked to raise a minimum of $500 from sponsors for the ride. RTT has made this super easy by creating an online sponsorship program that allows you with 5 minutes of time to create your own personal webpage to send to friends and family.

This event is limited to 25 riders. You must provide your own horse for the event.

Barn to Beach Ride-a-Thon – A Fun Day
Last year we had a stellar Maine summer day that witnessed 24 horses and riders enjoying the trails and beach of Ram Island Farm. With great thanks to our hostesses, Bonnie Porta and Mariah Monks, it was our most successful Ride-a-thon ever, raising over $13,000.
