| Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center (RTT) is a non-profit organization that has been providing therapeutic riding services to people with disabilities since 1993 and is a PATH Intl. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International) Premier Accredited Center. RTT provides therapeutic riding services to children and adults with physical, cognitive and/or emotional disabilities. We offer programs at our farm in Windham with a mission of helping people with disabilities reach their highest potential through the healing power of horses. Our instructors are PATH Intl. registered instructors and have a variety of backgrounds including physical therapy, nursing, social work, equine expertise and more. In addition, we have a great staff including a full-time Executive Director and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that our lessons and scheduling process is handled as efficiently as possible. Our farm is located near the Windham and Westbrook town line off of the Land of Nod Road at 10 Lilac Drive. The farm includes a 10-stall barn, a heated indoor arena, an outdoor riding arena and access to miles of trails. We operate 12 months of the year with six sessions that last 6-8 weeks in length. We charge a nominal fee for our riding lessons and we are funded primarily by individual donations, fund raising events, grants and corporate gifts. |
