Riding To The Top is seeking a enthusiastic and highly motivated individual for the role of Development Director. This is a full-time, salaried (32+ hours/week) position.
Manage and lead the growth and development of the Annual Fund, including Major Gifts through donor stewardship and cultivation;
Plan and organize Special Events
Write and secure grants in collaboration with the Executive Director;
Manage external communications including Press Releases, Social Media (FB/Instagram) and other forms of outreach; and
Build collaborative work teams with RTT’s staff, Board and volunteers to successfully execute the Development Plan
The position requires exceptional interpersonal skills including confidence and professionalism while bringing energy and enthusiasm to the work place. Must be willing to “roll up your sleeves” to get the work done in conjunction with staff, volunteers and committee members. Adaptability, creativity, and a sense of humor are highly valued. RTT provides a great work environment and a flexible work schedule. Potential for some (but not all) remote work.
A Bachelor’s degree is required along with a minimum of 5 years experience fundraising in the non-profit sector. The successful candidate will have excellent writing, public relations, outreach and organizational skills. Must have strong computer skills including literacy in Word, Excel, desktop publishing applications, CRMs and internet/email/social media.
