About Us

Founded in 1993, Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of children and adults with disabilities through equine activities and therapies. We operate year-round at our 50 acre farm in Windham, Maine.

For over 27 years, RTT has been a Premier Accredited Center with PATH Intl. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship), the international organization that set quality and safety standards for the industry.  Our services include therapeutic riding, therapeutic carriage driving, equine assisted learning and hippotherapy.

Research now substantiates what we have witnessed at the farm for years—time spent in nature, human-animal interactions and belonging to a community is good for your health.

“Human-Animal Interactions are at the core of RTT’s work and are made possible because of our professional staff, dedicated volunteers and incredible horses. We witness on a daily basis the health and wellness benefits of HAI for our clients, their families, our volunteers and our staff.” Sarah Bronson, PT, Executive Director, RTT
